License renewals are incredibly slow, inconsistent and not managed at all
The service here ranges from a short wait to very fast. But this all depends on what time you go there of course. Avoid early mornings and early afternoons as the high school opposite the post office makes navigation just short of a nightmare. Less a star for somewhat poor lighting in the office and the fact that more tellers can be open.
Line out the door for license renewels but only 1 teller who keeps disappearing for minutes at a time
Really understaffed... About ten stations and four or so regular staff. Understandable why the staff are a mixed bag, some being grumpy and others being helpful. Can be painful inside if it's remotely busy. Can be quick, can be really slow, can be friendly, can be grumpy. Really a gamble on the day.
Please do not use this post office if you have a choice.. Tried calling for over an hour on a Saturday morning to find out what my wife needs to renew her car license - phones were consistently engaged, like they had been removed from the receiver. I guess that old saying rings true: if you pay peanuts....
